How do I change my report language?
Set the language used across your generated reports.
The report language controls the language your reports are produced in, and it also sets the default unit system used in those reports. You can change it from your account settings at any time.
To change your report language:
- Select your name in the top-right corner of e.tool to open the account menu.
- Select Account settings.
- In the left-hand menu, select Report options.
- Under Language, open the dropdown and choose your preferred language.
- Your selection is saved automatically – a "Report preferences updated!" confirmation appears.
The following report languages are available:
- en-DK – English (Denmark) with metric units and Danish-style formatting
- en-US – English (United States) with imperial units and US-style formatting
- en-GB – English (United Kingdom) with metric units and UK-style formatting
- da-DK – Danish with metric units and Danish-style formatting
- de-DE – German with metric units and German-style formatting
- fr-FR – French with metric units and French-style formatting
- nb-NO – Norwegian Bokmål with metric units and Norwegian-style formatting
Notes and exceptions
The report language also determines the default unit system for reports – en-US uses imperial units, and all other languages use metric. To override this for all reports, set your Unit preference in account settings.
The report language is separate from your user-interface (UI) language. Changing the report language does not change the language of the e.tool interface itself; that is set under Account settings → Language.
