What product data do you need from us to be able to identify our products in your database?
This article explains the product information Rejoose uses to match your products and deliver the most accurate carbon data.
To identify a product, we need:
- Brand name (for example Lenovo, Dell)
- Manufacturer part number (for example 20YQS0TC00, 21AH00CSMX)
- Product category (for example laptop, desktop, smartphone)
- Screen size in inches (for example 6, 6.5, 27)
- Hard drive capacity (for example 128GB, 256GB, 2TB)
When both the brand name and the manufacturer part number are present, we deliver the most accurate, manufacturer-specific data.
Notes and exceptions
If a valid manufacturer part number is not available, we use the product category to deliver category-average data. This is less precise but still robust and GHG Protocol compliant. Where a part number is missing, Rejoose also enriches the data in the background, so there are no dead ends in your reporting.
If you receive Rejoose data through a Blancco–Rejoose setup, the manufacturer part number is usually captured automatically from the device's UEFI chipset during Blancco's drive erasure process.
